Third album from the Boston quartet that came out of Berklee: prog with guest sax, clarinet and flute, ten songs that bleed into one another and Casey Lee Williams holding it all up.
Lovebites will play no shows in 2027 and say they will be back onstage in 2028

Ian Hill retires from Judas Priest after fifty-seven years and Uriah Heep’s Davey Rimmer takes over
The bassist, who is seventy-four, was the last founder left in the band. Advanced arthritis has ended it, and Rimmer —who already played the London show on 21 September— steps in.

Deafheaven put out “At Work in the Fields of the Bomb” unannounced, three tracks on Roadrunner
The EP holds “Hunter”, “Three Princes” and “Sorry Laid the Hearth”. The title comes from a 1987 book of photographs about the people who build nuclear weapons.

RAM – Against
Eleven tracks and forty-two minutes, seven years after “The Throne Within”. The Swedes drop the metaphysics and write about being pushed until you refuse.
Labor of the Negative – The Triumph of Time and the Disillusioned
Black metal with a horn improvising inside it: six movements of “Epoché”, an interlude wedged between the fourth and the fifth, and thirty-four minutes all told.

“Built From Stardust” captures the 15 March 2025 show at the Revolution Music Room in Little Rock, the day after the studio album appeared. Six tracks, out on Relapse on vinyl and streaming.
Trivium release “Crown In The Grave” on 20 November, their eleventh album and the first with Alex Rüdinger on drums
It comes out on Roadrunner with Josh Wilbur producing and Jacob Hansen mixing. It is the first album made at The Hangar, the band’s own room in Orlando, and the first with Rüdinger as a member.
Mother of Millions – T
Seven years without a keyboard player and an anti-war record built on Whitman, Dickinson, Elytis and Ritsos: the Athenians fill the gap with strings, choir and spoken word.
Igorrr play seventeen European shows between March and April 2027, with Secret Chiefs 3 and Fange
From Aix-en-Provence on 13 March to Strasbourg on 4 April, by way of Istanbul, Sofia and Bucharest. Nothing in Spain, and the support acts sit out the opening night.

The album came out on 7 October 1986: ten tracks in 28 minutes and 58 seconds. Sound Of Vinyl has the new pressing exclusively, and neither price nor run size has been announced.
Radar Festival moves to a former steelworks and opens its 2027 bill with Textures, Arcane Roots and Conjurer
30 July to 1 August at Magna in Sheffield. The headliner, announced earlier, is Mick Gordon, playing the “Doom” soundtrack in full for the first time.
Konvent release “Firesky” on 6 November, five tracks on Napalm Records
The second single is the title track, with a guest vocal. It is the Danish band’s first record since “Call Down the Sun”, from March 2022.

Nuclear Blast has put out the second single, “The Myth”. The album was cut at Anselmo’s home studio through 2025, with Keenan and Windstein tracking guitars together.
Kulk – Choosing To Die
Twenty-six minutes of sludge from a British duo: nine tracks, an out-of-tune violin at the end of “Ache” and a minute of rising water that somebody cuts off dead.
Undeath premiere “Arterial Bombardment”, their first track for Relapse, and play Razzmatazz 2 on the 25th
The fourth album is already recorded and due this winter. The track comes out on a limited flexi disc during the European tour with Suffocation, which stops in Barcelona.
