“I See Red”, Ankor’s new album, is out on 20 November on UNFD. The band, formed in Els Pallaresos in 2003, have shared “ITACHI · blood moon” with a video.

There are seven tracks and each one takes a villain from “Naruto”. “The world shall know pain” opens the record and the rest put the character’s name up front — Madara, Itachi, Kaguya, Nagato, Obito and Danzo — with a lower-case subtitle. The last one, “DANZO · lying ghost”, features MAH of SiM and had already come out as a single.

“I See Red is a journey through pain, power, sacrifice, betrayal, loss and obsession,” singer Jessie Williams says. “Each song tells the story of someone who was shaped by the world around them and by the choices they made when everything they believed in began to fall apart.”

The current line-up is Williams on vocals, David Romeu and Fito Martínez on guitars, Julio López on bass and Eleni Nota on drums. From 15 October to 7 November they support Amaranthe across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania, and from 27 November to 19 December they co-headline a run with Self Deception and Lauren Babic through Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, the UK, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark and Sweden. Neither has a Spanish date.
