Igorrr have announced seventeen European shows between 13 March and 4 April 2027. They open at the Headbang Festival in Aix-en-Provence and close at La Laiterie in Strasbourg, with Solothurn, Zagreb, Belgrade, Athens, Thessaloniki, Istanbul, Sofia, Bucharest, Košice, Brno, Leipzig, Wiesbaden, Metz, Maastricht and Reims in between. There is nothing in Spain.
Secret Chiefs 3 and Fange support on every date except Aix-en-Provence, where the poster rules them out in a footnote. Trey Spruance, who leads Secret Chiefs 3, guests on “Amen”, Igorrr’s last album, alongside Scott Ian and Mike Leon.
“Amen” came out on 19 September 2025 on Metal Blade, five and a half years after “Spirituality and Distortion”, which had reached number 12 on the German chart. “This album is definitely darker than its predecessors, it has such a very weighty and solemn vibe that has never been reached before in IGORRR,” says Gautier Serre, the man behind the project. “Recording a real choir in a church helped a lot, but above all, there was very long and meticulous work on the sound and choice of instruments.”
Serre adds: “Of course, because it’s an IGORRR album, there are some more colorful tracks, like ‘Blastbeat Falafel’, ‘ADHD’ etc… They contrast very much with the ambient heaviness.”
