Emma Ruth Rundle has “Marked for Death” and “On Dark Horses” back on vinyl and CD, the two albums she put out with Sargent House. Pre-orders are open and both reach record shops on 4 December.
The reason for the first is the date: “Marked for Death” came out on 30 September 2016, which makes it ten years old to the day. “Today marks the 10th anniversary,” the label writes in opening the pre-orders. “On Dark Horses” is from 14 September 2018.
Each album gets four versions. For “Marked for Death”, a CD, standard black vinyl, a “Ghost Grey” run of five hundred copies sold only through the artist’s own stores — Hello Merch in the United States and Evil Greed in Europe — and a “Black Ice Splatter” available only at the merchandise stalls on tour. For “On Dark Horses”, the same scheme with a “Pink Ripple” run of five hundred and a tour-only “Ice Blue / White Splatter”.
Rundle has had a new album out for twelve days: “These Killing Times” arrived on 18 September, recorded with a full band and released on her own label.
