Wucan bring «Axioms» to Razzmatazz 3, with Canada’s Anciients

Germany’s Wucan and Canada’s Anciients share the bill at Razzmatazz 3 on Tuesday 13 October. Doors open at half past seven in the evening, tickets cost 28 €, and the night is promoted by Madness Live.

Wucan is the project of Francis Tobolsky, who sings and plays flute and theremin within a seventies-rooted heavy rock where both instruments carry the main melody on many tracks. They arrive with “Axioms”, released on 29 August 2025 through Long Branch Records; their debut, “Sow the Wind”, is from 2015.

Anciients, from Vancouver, play progressive metal built on twin guitars and long structures. “Beyond the Reach of the Sun” (2024) earned them a Juno award — their second — after a long decade without a new album.
