Musea Records added “Buried Alive”, Änglagård’s live album, to its Bandcamp archive on Friday. The show is from 5 November 1994, at the Variety Arts Centre in Los Angeles, where the Swedish band headlined the first night of ProgFest ’94: they had played there the year before, and the response from the crowd earned them the invitation back as headliners. It was their last performance before they split.

There are seven tracks: it opens with “Prolog”, two minutes and twenty, and closes with the twelve and a half of “Kung Bore”; the longest is “Höstsejd”, at fourteen oh three. The players are Thomas Johnson (mellotron, Hammond B-3 and grand piano), Tord Lindman (guitar and vocals), Anna Holmgren (flute and mellotron), Johan Högberg (bass and bass pedals), Jonas Engdegård (guitar) and Mattias Olsson (percussion).

The recording was mixed and edited in December 1995, and Musea released it on 18 November 1996. Änglagård had formed in Stockholm in 1991 and made their debut with “Hybris” the following year.
