The Power to the People Festival, put together by Tom Morello, takes place this Saturday 3 October at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, and can be watched in full and for free on the MS NOW YouTube channel. The stream starts at one in the afternoon, Eastern time.
On the bill are Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Joan Baez, Public Enemy, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black, Serj Tankian, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike and The Linda Lindas, among others.
The festival raises money for organisations defending democracy and voting rights, and gives over part of the site to grassroots, education and mutual aid groups.
