Archive release “Not In My Name” on 19 March 2027 through Dangervisit and [PIAS]. It’s the band’s fourteenth studio album and arrives just over a year on from “Glass Minds”, released on 27 February 2026. There are eleven tracks. The one that gives the record its title runs to eighteen minutes and is an anti-war piece.
All five voices in the collective sing together on it for the first time, with Holly Martin returning. The current line-up is completed by the two founders, Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths, plus Dave Pen, Pollard Berrier, Lisa Mottram and rapper Jimmy Collins, who stayed on after the 2025 tour and links back to the rap roots of the first album, “Londinium”.
“Glass Minds” ran to seventy-seven minutes and was cut with the English Session Orchestra’s brass section. For the new one the band promises passages of ambient hip-hop, art rock, electronics, neo-prog and rap.
The German tour in autumn 2027 has four dates: Berlin on 11 September, Hamburg on the 13th, Düsseldorf on the 14th and Munich on 2 October. Archive formed in Croydon in 1994 and have yet to announce a Spanish date.
