In 2011, the members of Audiolepsia decided to break away from common ground to compose music without boundaries. From that point on, with the band’s line-up now settled, they chose instrumental post-rock as the vehicle to bring their music to audiences. Audiolepsia’s music is built from complex landscapes, blending beautiful melodies with moments of force, constructing intense and unpredictable atmospheres.
At the end of 2013, the band released their first album, Principio de Incertidumbre, a collection of songs full of nuance and sensitivity that earned them a place at the prestigious Aloud Music Festival, the Alicante Pure Rock Fest and the Tótum Revolútum Fest, among other notable dates.
Although the band never stopped playing live, they began work on their second album, Muses, released in May 2017, co-released by Aloud Music Ltd and Dunk!Records, inspired by female icons who left their mark on the band’s members. The band added acoustic textures, string arrangements and a broader structural variety, closer to math rock and progressive rock, to their existing blend of riffs and guitar melodies.

The band’s personal character and distinctive sound come through clearly on their third album, Waves & Particles. They once again explored new sounds and atmospheres, with room for improvisation and experimentation. Here, they delved deeper into texture-building and the duality running through their compositions, where the most delicate passages combine and contrast with others full of power and, at times, rawness. That duality is the origin of the album’s title, Waves & Particles, a reference to the dual nature of light. As always, it’s an invitation to the listener’s own introspective journey.
