Steve Hackett will play Paral·lel 62 on Thursday 4 November 2027, at 8:30pm. It’s the only Catalan date on the «Best of Genesis & Solo Gems» tour, which in Spain stops only in Madrid, on 2 November, and in Barcelona. It’s promoted by Live Nation España with Mercury Wheels.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, 18 September, at 11am, with two presales beforehand: S.S Music’s on Wednesday the 16th and registered Live Nation members’ on Thursday the 17th, both also at 11am. Announced prices range from €47.50 for standing to €56.50 for the PL1 tier seating, with a second seating tier at €50 and reduced-mobility spots at €47.50. Ticketmaster adds €2 per transaction.
Hackett was Genesis’s guitarist from 1971 to 1977, from «Nursery Cryme» to «Wind & Wuthering», and since 2012 has been bringing that repertoire to the stage under the name Genesis Revisited. In recent years he’s done single-album tours: 2025’s was «The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway», which produced the live record «The Lamb Stands Up Live at the Royal Albert Hall».
This tour isn’t built around one specific record. The official announcement says it brings «the best of the Genesis songs from across his whole career» along with a selection of classic material from his solo albums.
He’s joined by Jonas Reingold on bass and guitar, Rob Townsend on saxophone, flutes and additional keyboards, Nad Sylvan on vocals, Lalle Larsson on keyboards and Felix Lehrmann on drums. Reingold, Townsend and Sylvan have been playing with him for years; Larsson and Lehrmann joined more recently.
Paral·lel 62 is the former Sala Barts, now jointly run by the L’Afluent, Quesoni and Sala Upload cooperatives. The Sala Gran holds 933 seated, reaching 1,500 with the audience standing.
