“Present Unfulfilled”, the new Slight Layers record, came out on 2 October through Psychedelic Source Records, and this week the band has posted the full album stream. There are six tracks: “Ivory White”, “Delusions”, “Present Unfulfilled”, “Scutigeridæ”, “Twin Leaks” and “Cracked Hare’s Cheek With Saffron Lark’s Tongue”.
The Hungarian band was coming off an improvised double album and went about this one differently. “We should do something more collected, a more conceptual album, as we would experiment with new sounds and riffs,” they say.
The material combines newly written songs with earlier live sessions, re-recorded at higher quality.
Psychedelic Source Records is a Hungarian psychedelic rock collective that also takes in Lemurian Folk Songs, Satorinaut, Pilot Voyager and Highbay.
