The group exhibition «RAW & ROCK. Capturing Moments» opens 19 September at Espai Veïnal Calàbria 66, at Carrer de Calàbria 66 in Barcelona, and runs through 10 October. The bill credits Tótum Revolútum and Calàbria 66.
Twenty-one photographers take part: Jackie Aguilera, Xavi Bartolí, Oiane Díaz, Jaume Estrada, Francesc Fàbregas, Pablo Gándara, Alfredo Geisse, Joan Francesc Gras (Kikus), Gloria Limontes, Josep M Llovera, Elena Marco, Enric Minguillón, Carles Oliver, Josep Ma Palou, Miquel Raga, Andrea Rodríguez, Irene Serrano, Marc Tomàs i Gimó, Carme Monclús, Juanjo Garcia and Xavier Mercadé.
The idea, according to the organisers, is to show rock and live music as a space for gathering, expression and identity-building, going beyond a strictly documentary approach: understanding the concert as a cultural and social phenomenon with an emotional, symbolic and collective dimension.
