Polyphia bring “Be Not Afraid”, their first new album in four years, to Razzmatazz’s Sala 1

Polyphia play Razzmatazz’s Sala 1 on Sunday 22 November at half past eight, tickets €47.50. It’s their Catalan date on the “Be Not Afraid World Tour”, in support of the album of the same name, the fifth by the instrumental quartet from Plano, Texas.

“Be Not Afraid” comes out on 23 October through Rise Records: twelve tracks, recorded between 2024 and 2025 in Miami, Los Angeles and Dallas with RJ Pasin co-producing, and the band’s first new material in almost four years.

Polyphia came together in Plano in 2010, and the quartet — Tim Henson and Scott LePage on guitars, Clay Gober on bass, Clay Aeschliman on drums — plays without a singer. The previous album was “Remember That You Will Die” (2022). The European leg starts in Zurich on 18 November and finishes at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on 16 December, with Perturbator opening every date; under-16s can only get in with a parent or legal guardian.
