Midnight will release «Satanic Attack Live!» on 6 November via Metal Blade Records. It’s the Cleveland band’s first live record, previewed with the video for «You Can’t Stop Steel».
It was recorded on 28 and 29 May at the Knucklehead in Hollywood, two sold-out nights on the fifteenth-anniversary tour for «Satanic Royalty». The record collects that album’s ten tracks in their original order, adding five more songs, including «Shock Til Blood», «T.A.P.» and «Fucking Speed And Darkness». Mark Borders handled the recording, and Zach Rippy the mixing and mastering.
«Did I ever imagine there’d be a Midnight live record? No,» says Athenar, who writes the band’s music.
It’s out on CD, digital and vinyl, in four colour variants, plus a limited edition of five hundred copies that adds a seven-inch single. Pre-orders are open.
