Joanne Shaw Taylor has released “You And Me (Rachel’s Song)”, the ninth of the ten tracks on “The Trouble With Love”. The album is out on 23 October through Journeyman Records, produced by Kevin Shirley.
“A song for my best friend Rachel,” the guitarist says. The lyric is about a friendship that holds through distance and time: “It’s the big moments that always feel small, until you look back, then they’re the ones you wish you could stall.”
It is the seventh advance track from the record, which this magazine covered on 26 September when the album was announced with Joe Bonamassa and Orianthi guesting; the single came out on 25 September.
