Zombi’s Steve Moore and The Sword’s Bryan Richie and Santiago Vela III debut as Autumn Tomb with a self-titled album, released by Spaceflight Records on 6 November. It has five tracks and lasts around 36 minutes: “Ages Lost”, “Golgotha”, “Miracles of Pain”, “Crumbling Thrones”, the longest at almost ten minutes, and “Eternal Sea”. “Ages Lost” and “Crumbling Thrones” were released earlier as singles, on 4 September and 2 October.

Moore plays guitar and keys and sings, Richie plays bass and Vela III handles drums and percussion. The three had already worked together on cover recordings: The Sword’s “Conquest of Quarantine” and Zombi’s “Zombi & Friends Vol 1”.

The album was produced by Moore and was recorded at Nightmare City in Albany, New York, and at Paper Weapons Studio in Taylor, Texas. Phil Manley reamped the guitars at Hummingbird Studio in Oakland, and James Plotkin mastered it at Plotkinworks. The calligraphy is by Conrad Keely. Alongside the digital release, the label is putting it out on three 180-gram vinyl editions and on cassette.
