Rise Above Records releases “The Guessing Game (Rethink)” on 30 October 2026, a reissue of Cathedral’s ninth studio album, which came out on 26 March 2010 on Nuclear Blast as a double album. Jaime Gomez Arellano, a collaborator of the band, has mixed it anew from the original masters; the original album was produced by Warren Riker.
The reissue collects the thirteen tracks of the original: “Immaculate Misconception”, “Funeral Of Dreams”, “Painting In The Dark”, “Death Of An Anarchist”, “The Guessing Game”, “Edwige’s Eyes”, “Cats, Incense, Candles & Wine”, “One Dimensional People”, “The Casket Chasers”, “Ghost Galleon”, “The Running Man”, “Requiem For The Voiceless” and “Journey Into Jade”. It includes alternative takes and extended versions, and the digital edition is on Bandcamp.
