Avaland, a French metal band, release “Chemical Poetry” on 30 October 2026 through Storytium. It is the third studio album, after “Theater of Sorcery” (2021) and “The Legend of the Storyteller” (2023), and continues the metal opera saga that the band began with the first.
The album has twelve tracks: “When the Night Comes Alive”, “Destiny Calls”, “Alchemy”, “Beauties & Beasts”, “To Fool a Witch”, “Fate”, “Ascension”, “Sail On”, “Face the Eternal”, “Trinity”, “Fallen Leaves” and “Faded Away”. Before its release, “Sail On”, “Destiny Calls”, “Faded Away” and “Face the Eternal” were previewed; for the last of these, the lyric video is from 28 August. It was produced and mixed by Joost van den Broek, who also sings on “Face the Eternal”; the mastering is by Darius van Helfteren.
