Enslaved release “Mið” on 30 October through Nuclear Blast. It is the band’s seventeenth studio album and runs to eight tracks, from “Non-Being” to “I Miðju”. “Mið” is the Old Norse word for “the centre”, or “the middle”: the label presents the record as a look at the concept of the axis — the middle, the origin and the infinite reach of the present moment.

Playing on it are Grutle Kjellson on lead vocals and bass, Ivar Bjørnson on guitars and keyboards, Arve Isdal on guitars, Håkon Vinje on keyboards and clean vocals and Iver Sandøy on drums.

The release show is on 29 October at Kulturhuset in Bergen; on the 30th the band hold a signing session in Oslo, and on the 31st they play Oslo Spektrum alongside Dimmu Borgir and Satyricon. They reach Barcelona on 14 February 2027, at Razzmatazz 2, as part of the European tour they share with Sólstafir.
