The Rolling Stones release “Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips” on 27 November, the expanded edition of “Foreign Tongues”, the fourteen-song album that came out on 10 July this year. It adds five tracks that were not on the standard edition: four of them previously unreleased, plus “Bad Luck Hideaway”.

They are “Where There’s A Will”, with Steve Winwood on organ; “Who You Callin’ Crazy”, with saxophonist Courtney Pine; “Human Tide”; “Bad Luck Hideaway”, a vocal duet by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards with Charlie Watts on drums; and “She Still Comes Around”.

“Bad Luck Hideaway” is not unreleased. It came out on 10 July as a bonus track on the album’s iTunes edition, and since 1 October it has been on every platform as the B-side to “Mr Charm”. The band recorded it in 2015 at British Grove Studios.

“Foreign Tongues” was recorded in sessions in 2019, 2021, 2022-2023 and 2025-2026, at Henson Studios in Los Angeles and Metropolis Studios in London, produced by Andrew Watt, who also produced “Hackney Diamonds” (2023). Watts died on 24 August 2021; for the other four tracks the label does not give the sessions.

It comes out through Polydor digitally, as a deluxe 2CD edition and as a heavyweight red vinyl edition carrying only the five new tracks, with the original album on CD in the same package.
