Genesis’s guitarist from 1971 to 1977, with the repertoire from those six years

Steve Hackett plays Paral·lel 62 on Thursday 4 November 2027, at half past eight in the evening. The floor costs 47.50 € and tiered seating 50 € or 56.50 € depending on the section. The show is run by Mercury Wheels and Live Nation.

General sale opens on Friday 18 September 2026 at eleven in the morning, fourteen months before the show. Two presales come first: the S.S Music one on Wednesday the 16th and the Live Nation members’ one on Thursday the 17th, both at the same time.

It’s the only Catalan date of “Best of Genesis & Solo Gems”, which in Spain only stops here and in Madrid. Hackett’s recent tours have been single-themed — 2025’s was “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway” in full, with a live album out from the Royal Albert Hall — but this one isn’t: the announced programme draws on Genesis songs from across his whole time in the band, plus material from his solo albums.

Hackett joined Genesis in 1971, for “Nursery Cryme”, and left in 1977 after “Wind & Wuthering”. Those six years produced the albums with which the band defined British progressive rock. Since 2012 he’s toured that repertoire live under the name Genesis Revisited.

He’s joined by Jonas Reingold on bass and guitar, Rob Townsend on saxophone and flutes, Nad Sylvan on vocals, Lalle Larsson on keyboards and Felix Lehrmann on drums. Sylvan has sung the Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins parts for over a decade now.

Paral·lel 62 is the former Sala Barts. The main room holds 933 with seated stalls, or 1,500 with standing audience; the ticketing page lists floor and tiered seating, so it’ll be in the standing configuration.
