Evanescence present «Sanctuary» in Badalona, with Poppy and Nova Twins, sold out

Evanescence play the Olímpic Arena in Badalona on Thursday 1 October. Doors open at half past six in the evening and the show starts at nine. Tickets, handled by Doctor Music, are sold out. Poppy and Britain’s Nova Twins open the night.

The tour presents “Sanctuary”, the band’s sixth studio album, released on 5 June 2026. The cycle opened with “Afterlife”, on 28 March 2025, and the album’s lead single was “Who Will You Follow”, out on 10 April this year. The previous album was “The Bitter Truth”, from 2021.

“Fallen”, from 2003, has sold around seventeen million copies and made Amy Lee the public face of a gothic, symphonic metal that until then had been mostly European territory. Since then the band has rebuilt itself twice, moved toward a drier rock sound on “The Open Door” and “Evanescence”, and veered into orchestral and electronic territory with “Synthesis”, a reworking of their own back catalogue.
