Ministry release “Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)” on 30 October, their seventeenth studio album, and have unveiled “Singularity” as the third preview, after “Burned Out” and “We Hate”. The album comes out through Cleopatra Records, and the band says it’s their last.
“That’s it. I’m proud of what I’ve done. I’m amazed at the path it’s ended up taking, from ‘With Sympathy’ to where we are today and every point in between. It’s been a good ride, but I’m completely at peace with it being over. Time to go herd goats,” says Al Jourgensen, who formed the band in Chicago in 1981.
The album is played by Jourgensen with Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto on guitars, Paul D’Amour on bass, John Bechdel on keyboards and samplers and Pepe Clarke Magaña on drums. Paul Barker, who was in the band between 1986 and 2003, returns for one track, “We’re Still Here”.
The band still has dates this year, including Chicago’s Salt Shed and the Louder Than Life, Sick New World Texas and Good Things (Australia) festivals. The European farewell tour, “Goodbye Europe”, begins in April 2027 with Die Krupps as guests. No dates in Spain have been announced.
