Chaosbay have signed with Metal Blade Records. The Berlin quartet announced it on 20 October along with “Egosystem”, the third advance track from the album they have scheduled for March 2027.
“The idea of the track was to combine the reggaeton feeling derived from hip-hop and nu-metal with catchy metalcore hooks and riffs,” the band say. They have also put out a second, softer version of the same track, a groovy indie take with prog-rock elements.
The line-up is Jan Listing on lead vocals and guitars, Alexander Langner on guitars, Matthias Heising on bass and Patrick Bernath on drums. Listing produces the band’s tracks.
The two earlier advance tracks are “How Does It Make You Feel?”, from July, and “The Lost Kids”, from September. The label introduces them as “one of the most forward-thinking bands in the modern metal landscape”. The album does not have a title yet.
