Burn Eternal, the duo of singer Howard Jones and guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz, have signed to Metal Blade Records. The label announced it on 21 October and the debut album is already recorded: it was mixed in December 2024.

“From an idea while having lunch in London to a completed album, this has been such a fun way to reconnect with my friend,” says Jones.

Dutkiewicz puts it another way: “We’re just two goofballs just dicking around in the studio again.”

The two overlapped in Killswitch Engage between 2002 and 2012, the years of “The End Of Heartache” and “As Daylight Dies”. Dutkiewicz is still the band’s guitarist.

The group has no members beyond the two of them, and no title, date or first taste of the album has been announced.
