Ruf Records release the deluxe edition of “Trouble At Your Door” on 13 November, the album Alastair Greene put out in 2014 on Delta Groove / Eclecto Groove with Randy Chortkoff as executive producer. Chortkoff died on 5 May 2015, aged sixty-five, and Delta Groove’s catalogue lists nothing after 2017.

The remaster is by Sean McCue, the same engineer who recorded the album in 2013 at his Coyote Road Studios in Santa Barbara, California. “I always felt this album needed to be remastered,” Greene says in the label’s note. “I wanted to get back the sound of the original mixes, which was much more organic.”

The edition adds two tracks cut at the same sessions: an acoustic version of “Drunk Again”, which had appeared on “Walking in Circles” (2009), and a version of “3 Bullets”, from the 2001 debut “A Little Wiser”, with Erik Norlander on Hammond organ. The original record had Austin Beede on drums and Jim Rankin on bass, with Norlander on organ on some tracks.

Greene has seven studio albums, four live albums and one compilation. The last two were made with Ruf: “Standing Out Loud” (2024) and the live EP “Live in Sin City” (2025).

The label has opened pre-orders without detailing formats; shops are listing it on CD.
