Reliqa will release “High Risk Thoughts” on 12 February 2027 through Nuclear Blast. It is the Sydney quartet’s second album and follows “Secrets Of The Future”, from 2024.

The announcement comes with the video for “Serum”, the track that opens the record. “‘Serum’’s sound represents a sort of bridge from where we were to where we are now, so it felt apt to have it not only open the new record but also mark its announcement to the world,” the band says. “It’s low and menacing with a mechanical edge (heavily inspired by the Danish prog legends Vola), but we’ve also loaded it with some fun twists and turns.” It is the only song on the album they had already been playing live.

There are ten songs: “Serum”, “Hands To The Ceiling”, “High Risk Thoughts”, “Quiet Coda”, “Your Touch”, “Cemetery Roots”, “One Word”, “Unguarded”, “Digital Heaven” and “Nobody Survives This”.

On the day the album comes out the band starts its first North American tour, opening for Northlane. There are twenty-five dates, from Sacramento on 12 February to Portland on 18 March. Until now they had toured nationally in Australia with Northlane and with Periphery.
