Rockstar Games has started unveiling the radio stations in “Grand Theft Auto VI” and one of them is The Chamber, at 106.6 on the dial, given over to metal and hosted by Tom Araya and Kerry King, Slayer’s singer-bassist and guitarist. On the studio’s website they are credited as DJ Tom and DJ Kerry.
Rockstar has posted a preview. Three songs can be heard in it, Black Sabbath’s “I”, Pantera’s “I’m Broken” and Slayer’s own “Raining Blood”, with the two hosts’ links in between. Neither the station’s full playlist nor those of the other channels have been published.
“Grand Theft Auto VI” comes out on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album”, thirty-four original tracks, is released the same day.
Slayer are playing “Reign in Blood” in full on a run of shows that ends in South America. The record turned forty on 7 October and the band have announced a vinyl edition filled with red liquid for 20 November, the day after the game.
