Darkest Hour have released “Warrior”, the second preview of “Suffer Divine”, out on 30 October. It is the eleventh album by the Washington DC band and their first since “Perpetual Terminal” in 2024.

The line-up is completed by John Henry on vocals, Nico Santora on second guitar, Aaron Deal on bass and Travis Orbin on drums. “This song showcases our melodic death metal tendencies with a bit of a modern twist,” says guitarist Mike Schleibaum. “I love the progressiveness of Nico’s solo, the intricacy of Travis’s drum work, Deal’s devastating low end, John’s vocal delivery, and lyrical density.”

Henry places the lyric: “Lyrically, this song is meant to reach out to the intrapersonal warrior. The internal struggle is often the most important battle we ever fight.”

Thomas Mignone directs the video for DOOM Inc. “The video for ‘Warrior’ is heavily inspired by one of our favorite movies, ‘Raging Bull’, and one of our favorite music videos, ‘Mama Said Knock You Out’,” Schleibaum adds.

The North American tour starts on 1 December in Austin, with Judiciary opening, straight after the run they will do from 12 to 29 November with Fear Factory. No European dates have been announced.
