“Totally Twisted – The Studio Albums 1982–1987” is out on 13 November through BMG and Rhino. It gathers the five studio albums Twisted Sister released across those six years: “Under The Blade” (1982), “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll” (1983), “Stay Hungry” (1984), “Come Out And Play” (1985) and “Love Is For Suckers” (1987).

There are two editions, one of five LPs and one of five CDs. Each record is on its own colour — red, blue, pink, green and yellow — and the CD edition carries “King Of The Fools”, the track that was only on the compact disc version of “Come Out And Play”.

The label’s announcement frames the box as the chronicle of the period in which Twisted Sister “evolved from a New York City club phenomenon into an international heavy metal powerhouse”. The leap came with “Stay Hungry”, with “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock”.

There is no word on whether the albums have been remastered.
